Bekah Harris author Native Guardian series

Born and raised in rural East Tennessee, Bekah Harris has been writing since she could hold a pencil. The beauty of her home in the Appalachian Mountains, as well as the legends, myths, and folklore of that area, is what inspires the unique plots and settings captured in her young adult and new adult fiction.  In addition to her love of all things fictional, Bekah is also a freelance writer, specializing in feature writing, editing, and composition. An award-winning reporter and former high school English teacher, Rebekah is currently a freelance writer and adjunct professor. When not writing, reading, or teaching, she can be found at home building block towers for her son to knock down, drinking coffee with her husband, and trying to win the approval of her grouchy calico cat.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1518471997781{margin-top: 20px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]

I like the new site. I won’t tell Hazel you told the world she’s grouchy…although she would probably not care!… : )

Thanks, Lana! Poor Hazel. Our vet told us that calico cats are the most high strung and hateful of all the breeds. I honestly don’t think she can help her bad attitude!

It was so good, Rebekah, to read the cover article about you and your work and your son in this month’s issue of A Magazine. It sounds as if you’re staying VERY busy and are doing well with your creative writing and publications. Perhaps I’ll get a chance to see you at the Highlands Writers Fair on the 13th. If not, please know that I’m delighted by your success in pursuing your dreams.

    Very best wishes,
    JDL
